Joint Use in the Group

Sompo Group may use personal data in the Group jointly as outlined below only within the scope required. In implementing joint use, we shall handle Personal Information in accordance with regulation for the protection of personal information “Personal Information Protection Act”) and other related applicable laws and regulations.

Please refer to the Privacy Policy of each company for the specific handling of joint use by Sompo Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates.

- Name, address, telephone number, email address, gender, date of birth, inquiry content, content of use of apps and other services, location information, business-card information (information readable from a business card, including company name, section name, and title), information provided to the Sompo Group other than transaction-related information, other information collected by the Sompo Group in person, by telephone, through the Web, email, or apps, through provision by third parties or through other means.
- Regardless of transactions, name, address, telephone number, email address, gender, date of birth, inquiry content, and other information unrelated to transactions provided by the customer to the Sompo Group through the Web for a quote, placing an inquiry to a call center, or other means.

Sompo Group may use personal data jointly as outlined below with member companies of the Group in connection with nursing-care related services in the Group.
- Purpose of joint use
- Research and analysis on data for services in use (including cases and incidents), R&D on various products and services, notification and provision of various products and services to customers as well as decision making for those operations, billing and collecting money of usage fee, clerical work for nursing-care insurance and nursing-care remuneration claims related items, investigation and response to accidental events concerning our services, response to customers’ requests and complains, questionnaire survey, business and management analysis, employee payroll and social insurance related items, various operations and paper works such as internal control.
- Human education, human development, and other HR and labor related operations
- Others including execution of business management operation of the Group
